Time for Peace by Sarah Boris is a new artwork which echoes the fragility of peace; for one fleeting second, quadrice a day, the peace symbol is formed on the clock. Time for Peace is a moving tableau which changes at every second of the day through the motion of the handles.

The clock is a limited edition and produced on demand.
The handle for the seconds is extended to the full width of the clock’s diameter enabling the formation of the peace symbol at certain times of the day such as 20h26m30sec. The red part indicates the actual seconds and the yellow part is ‘obsolete’. The blue handle indicates the hours and the green one the minutes.
